Friday, May 15, 2020

Brazil's Ministry of the Economy has announced that it has significantly expanded the list of products that can be received in Brazil free from import duties until September 30, 2020.

These goods would otherwise be subject to tax at up to 60 percent.

Ministerial Ordinance no. 194 of the Ministry of Economy of May 6, 2020, sets out the goods that will benefit from duty waivers, including donations of COVID-19 related medical supplies.
